Sims Brothers Recycling is Central Ohio's fastest growing recycling company for households, farms, businesses and industries. For 75 years Sims Brothers Recycling has been a family-owned, hands-on, people-minded and service-oriented business serving households, farms, businesses and industries. We have four locations in Marion, Delaware, Bellefontaine and Columbus where we we buy, accept, transport, process, broker and sell all types of recyclable products including scrap iron and steel, nonferrous metals, cardboard, newspaper, high grade paper, plastics, electronic scrap and glass. Our full-scale recycling services allow us to be a volume material supplier, yet our family management style also allows nimble out-of-the-box thinking and 24/7 customer support. We started with nothing but a wagon and a dream!During the 1920's, two elementary school-aged brothers, out of economic necessity, started collecting scrap metals and waste paper throughout the city of Marion, Ohio. Using a small hand-pulled wagon, Carl and Donald Sims sold the materials to a local scrap processor. From that humble beginning, the boys graduated to a dump truck. Eventually, Sims Bros. Inc. grew from a simple scrap peddling operation into a sophisticated, environmentally aware, multi-faceted recycling/processing management operation. Hard work, integrity and dedication to customer service have motivated this family owned business for over 75 years. Today we employ over 160 associates at facilities in four cities and at numerous customer sites. This privately owned business is now owned and managed by Gary Sims, President. He'll be the first to tell you, when you put your heart into a family business, it's in the right place! To learn more about what we do at Sims Brothers Recycling, visit our website at www.simsbros.com!
