Meet the team to learn more about why CurbWaste waste management software has become the trusted partner for waste hauling businesses nationally.
CurbWaste, a SaaS platform designed to optimize operations for waste management companies from collection to disposal, has secured a $10 million Series A funding round. The investment was spearheaded by Flourish Ventures, with contributions from TTV Capital, Mucker Capital, and B Capital. This new funding elevates CurbWaste's total capital raised to $20 million.
The U.S. waste management market was valued at $314 billion in 2021, encompassing collection, transportation, and disposal services. This sector is characterized by a combination of longstanding family-owned businesses and numerous mid-sized companies. Despite its complexity, the waste management industry has seen limited integration of SaaS, cloud-based, and digital workflow solutions.
Emmalyn Shaw, Managing Director at Flourish Ventures, emphasized the necessity for waste management software to deliver immediate value and align closely with the specific business processes and workflows of the industry. She praised CurbWaste's founders for their profound industry knowledge and noted that the company's sales in 2023 demonstrated the demand for its specialized SaaS platform, which includes financial tools tailored to waste management companies.
CurbWaste offers a data-driven approach that simplifies customer and order management, real-time dispatch, and automated billing, thus allowing companies to focus on profitable and environmentally sustainable practices. The new funding will help CurbWaste expand its platform, including features for billing automation, embedded lending, payouts, and advanced reporting. Additionally, the company is developing an AI-driven chatbot that will enhance customer service by learning order patterns and facilitating communication via text.
